Xin Chao (Hello) Hanoi. This is it then, the starting point! We know that you'll be excited, nervous, apprehensive or all three… So to help ease you into life here in Vietnam, our experienced team of guides will collect you at the airport and transfer you to our first hotel. Relax, freshen up and meet your new travel family before we take you to one of our favourite spots for dinner. We may even stop off for a local beer or two on what’s known as… beer street. That should set you up well for this epic adventure.
🥢 Meals included: Breakfast & dinner
We'll kick today off with an informative orientation so that you can get your bearings and find out about all the activities, rules of the road and what we have planned for you along the way. It’s time to head into town for a walking tour… we’ll visit local markets, the famous Hoan Kiem Lake, Bamboo street and take you down hidden alleyways that only the locals know their way around. Finish the day with a traditional egg coffee demonstration - yes, that’s egg in coffee (and trust us, it tastes way better than it sounds!), before we sit down for an included local buffet… YUM!
🥢 Meals included: Breakfast, lunch & dinner
Goodbye to the hustle and bustle of the crazy capital and welcome to Vietnam's extraordinary Ha Long Bay. After jumping onboard our traditional junk boat, we'll cruise through the iconic emerald waters dotted with thousands of towering limestone cliffs. The afternoon will be spent kayaking, swimming and relaxing on the beach before the drinks get flowing for happy hour cocktails on the top deck for sunset… How does that sound?
🥢 Meals included: Breakfast & lunch
This morning we’ll head back to Hanoi after some sunrise Tai Chi on the topdeck of the boat. Once checked in, the afternoon is yours to relax and enjoy at your own pace — wander the Old Quarter, sip coffee in a hidden café, or simply kick back at the hotel. Tonight is free for you to soak up the energy of Hanoi before we swap the city streets for the mountains tomorrow.
🥢 Meals included: Breakfast, lunch & dinner
We set off into the countryside towards Pu Luong, a beautiful region surrounded by rice paddies, lush valleys, and mountains. We’ll explore Ban Don village, getting a glimpse of authentic local life before heading to our accommodation — complete with an infinity pool overlooking golden rice terraces. After dinner, get ready to join in with the locals for a traditional dance performance. Don’t be shy, it’s all part of the fun!
🥢 Meals included: Breakfast, lunch
Lace up your walking shoes — today we’ll hike through rice terraces, mountain forests, and remote ethnic villages for an up-close look at rural Vietnam. You’ll see farmers at work and enjoy some of the most scenic landscapes of the whole trip. After a day on your feet, it’s time to indulge in something truly unique: an ethnic massage and traditional herbal foot spa. Trust us… you’ll have earned it.
🥢 Meals included: Breakfast & dinner
From Pu Luong we make our way to Ninh Binh, where dramatic limestone mountains rise straight out of the rice fields. This afternoon we’ll hike to the top of the famous Dragon Laying Viewpoint for breathtaking views over the rice fields and winding rivers below. Tonight, enjoy a hearty local dinner before we turn up the volume with a proper Vietnamese karaoke night — a memory (and possibly some dodgy singing) you won’t forget!
🥢 Meals included: Breakfast
Did you know that the Hollywood blockbuster King Kong was filmed here? Well, you do now and for good reason! This place is simply stunning… Today we’ll explore the magnificent Bai Dinh Pagoda temple complex before cycling through Vietnam’s beautiful countryside and rice fields. We’ll finish the day with a serene rowboat journey drifting through caves and riverside scenery. Chu Chu… that’s right, it’s time for the overnight train!
Welcome to the historic city of Hoi An, your home for the next three nights. After our journey south, we’ll check into a boutique hotel with a swimming pool just a short stroll from the heart of Hoi An’s Old Quarter. The lantern-lit streets, riverside cafés, and charming yellow buildings make this town a traveller’s favourite — and you’ll soon see why.
🥢 Meals included: Breakfast & lunch
Start the day with a gentle cruise by boat to take you to the coconut kingdom. After paddling our way through the coconut groves in bamboo baskets we’ll take a short trip in electric cars to the Tra Qua Vegetable Village. It’s time for one of our highlights on the trip, as we take a traditional cooking class that will have you whipping up delicious Vietnamese food in no time.
🥢 Meals included: Breakfast
This is your day! The Hoi An old quarter is packed full of pretty yellow buildings, boutiques, tailor shops, and quaint little coffee shops for you to explore. We’ve got lots of options of things to do on your free day: Cycle down to An Bang beach, learn to make your own lantern or we can even arrange a trip to the world famous golden hand bridge in Da Nang. That evening we’ll all get on row boats to release lanterns on the river to end our time in the magical Hoi An.
🥢 Meals included: Breakfast
It’s time to wave goodbye to Hoi An as we board a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). After checking into our hotel beside the famous Ben Thanh Market, we’ll take a wander through District 1 to get a feel for this vibrant metropolis and enjoy its buzzing nightlife.
🥢 Meals included: Breakfast & dinner
This morning is yours to relax — pick up some last-minute souvenirs, sip an iced coffee, or visit the moving War Remnants Museum. By evening, get ready for a mouth-watering motorbike foodie tour like no other. You’ll ride pillion with your all-female local drivers as they take you to hidden eateries across the city. Taste authentic Vietnamese street food, meet the women leading this empowering project, and finish the trip on a real high.
🥢 Meals included: Breakfast
That’s it, it really is over now so it’s time to say goodbye to your travel family. Our guides will be around if you need any help with your onward travel plans. We know you’ll have had the most incredible time on this journey, safe travels!
